Here is where you can discuss things, possibly things to do with Oku Hanako, with fellow readers. A forum would be better suited for this purpose, but I don’t have enough readers to make a forum worth it, so this will have to do for now.

To start, leave a comment at the bottom of the page. If you wish to reply to a comment, click the “Reply” button. Comments are nested up to three levels, and there is no “Reply” button at the third level, so click on the “Reply” button for the second-level comment.
Markdown and some HTML are allowed.

To get updates of new comments, you can check the option to “Notify me of follow-up comments via email” when you leave a comment or subscribe to this page’s comments RSS feed.

Credit goes to reader Andreas Straub for suggesting the idea for this page. Thanks, Andreas!

Note that if you mention one of her songs that I’ve posted here, I’ll probably edit it so that the song mentioned is linked to the post.

  1. If I’m reading this right, Oku Hanako is going to do a collab on one song with French singer and pianist Juliette Armanet[fr] on April 8.

  2. In case I don’t get around to it soon (it’s not likely), her latest song “Negai” / 願い (“wish”), made for a recent Sanrio Puroland show, “Miracle Illusion ★ Happiness” / ミラクリュージョン★Happiness, was released digitally on February 12.

Part of the song can be heard at the 10:30 mark of this recording of the event:

  3. According to noburin28’s blog post[jp], the one with all the song keys, Oku Hanako may have studied abroad during her university days and was inspired to write a song because of all the snow in Vienna, with the result being Fuyu no Houseki / 冬の宝石.

What are your thoughts on Oku Hanako?
